Amherst Steel High School’s yearlong campaign, 180 Days of Safety, demonstrated a deep commitment to promoting traffic safety from September through May. With a wide range of activities—including the Think Fast Safe Driving Assembly, a Health and Safety Fair, interactive distraction games, and pedestrian safety outreach—students stayed engaged all year long. The campaign also stood out for its strong community involvement, consistent social media messaging, and creative, holiday-themed safety initiatives, making safety a daily conversation both on and off campus.
